Lectures: Tim has lectured on ophthalmic imaging techniques to ophthalmologists, residents, technicians, photographers, and optometrists at local, regional, national and international meetings. He has presented at AAO, ASCRS, JCAHPO, ATPO, OPS and several other eye care meetings and symposia. He also frequently lectures on best imaging practices in programs sponsored by industry or pharma. Through 2019 he has delivered over 250 presentations. A list of available lecture topics can be found here.

In office education: A combination of basic lectures and hands-on training will help improve the skill of your clinical staff. For some practices, hosting in-house training, on your own equipment, may be the most cost effective means of getting your entire staff trained in current imaging techniques. See article on staff training from Ophthalmology Management.

Consulting: Tim has advised several instrument manufacturers on imaging techniques, frequently beta-testing instruments and imaging sensors. He has lectured to instrument manufacturer engineers and sales personnel on the clinical applications of their devices.

    1. Thanks Alan. Stepping back from many of my OPS responsibilities has given me the time & opportunity to gather my projects here!

    1. Thanks Ethan. Glad you stumbled across the site. It’s a “rainy day” project that I add to when I’m not busy – which isn’t very often these days!
